Over the years, we saw the limits of traditional pet ID options. Tags can break, fade, or fall off. Microchips are useful but they depend on a vet or shelter with the right scanner. Too often, a good person finds a lost pet but does not know what to do next or how to help quickly.
We wanted a solution that works in the moment. Something simple, modern, and kind. Toronto Pet ID was created to give anyone the power to help a lost pet with just one tap.

Toronto Pet ID uses NFC technology, also known as near field communication. This is the same trusted technology used in tap payments and transit cards. When someone taps your pet’s NFC tag with their smartphone, your pet’s contact page opens instantly. There is no app to download and no battery to worry about. It just works.
The tag is small, lightweight, and waterproof. It stays on your pet’s collar during walks, playtime, and everyday adventures. Whether your pet slips out the door or wanders a little too far, help is always close.
