Our Service
Toronto Pet ID provides NFC smart ID tags for pets and creates a private online profile linked to each tag. This profile helps connect finders with pet owners if a pet is lost. We do not provide animal control services, shelter services, or emergency care.
Pet Registration
After purchasing a tag, you must complete the registration form with accurate and up to date information. We create your petās online profile based on the information you provide. Profile creation usually takes up to 24 hours after we receive the completed form.
You are responsible for ensuring all information is correct and current. Toronto Pet ID is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect or outdated details.
Use of the NFC Tag
The NFC tag does not require batteries, charging, apps, or QR codes. The tag must be attached securely to your petās collar. Normal wear and tear may occur over time. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or removed tags.
5. Profile Updates
If you need to update your petās information, you may submit the registration form again on the registration page of this website. Updates are handled manually by our team.
For security reasons, we do not currently offer customer login access. All profile updates are submitted through our secure registration form.
You do not need to purchase a new tag, as the tag is already connected to the petās profile. All updates are provided free of charge.
Shipping
Tags are shipped through Canada Post. Delivery times may vary depending on location. Toronto Pet ID is not responsible for shipping delays caused by postal services or events outside our control.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our service for false information, impersonation, or unlawful purposes. Pet profiles must only be created for pets you own or are authorized to register.
Limitation of Liability
Toronto Pet ID does not guarantee the recovery of a lost pet. Our service is a support tool designed to help connect people. We are not responsible for actions taken by third parties who scan a tag or view a pet profile.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our service means you accept the updated terms.
